We have used Mr Curley’s services on numerous occasions & have always appreciated his prompt & professional service. This past January for example we had a leak coming from our ceiling in our basement. When we discovered where it was coming from on a Sunday night I called & left a message. As he was closed I expected to hear from him on Monday AM, but instead Mr Curley called back immediately & came out and fixed the problem. He even had to go out & find the appropriate parts to fix it. We were charged a very reasonable amount particularly being on a Sunday night. Most recently we had a problem with our sink sprayer. As it is an old unit finding the part was difficult & expensive. Mr Curley was able to find a replacement at a reasonable price. We have used him for toilet repairs as well & again he was always efficient, timely & friendly. We find him very reasonably price. ~ Andrea B

Throughout my almost 40 years in Hudson, I've used RT Curley plumbing numerous times. It's still a family business; and if you call for service, Charlene still answers the phone. Rick is always very pleasant to work with, very professional and service-oriented. Recently, we had a leak issue, for which he ordered parts. Parts came in, but leak stopped. He came to the house, no charge, checked it and said call when it begins again. It did, and he came out as soon as his schedule allowed. Great, prompt and friendly service. Cannot say enough good things about Richard T. Curley Plumbing. Had a very difficult Hot Water Heater Install and need all new lines from HWH into house. Richard and his wife showed up and in less than 3 hours completed the job. This included removal of old HWH, install of all new lines, and reinstallation of the new HWH. Super professional, super workmanship, and the price for all this work beat all the competitors that quoted the work by $500.00. On top of everything that he did there is also that great feeling that the work was done correctly and will last a long time. ~ Brad S

After leaking water heater panic set in, I was referred to and called Richard T.Curley for help…I got a call back an hour before they opened. Rick came to make sure I had cold water even though it was his daughter’s 12th birthday. and made sure a new hot water heater would fit in the tight space available. As soon as the proper hot water heater came in, he immediately installed it professionally and quickly and I am wicked relieved and would highly recommend that anyone give them a call. Richard repaired a non functioning Campbell frost free water hydrant. He came within an hour of my call. He knew exactly how the hydrant worked and repaired it by making several adjustments without the need of parts. I had a leaking zone valve and contacted Mr Curley, he was quick to respond and to correct the issue. During his inspection he observed other issue that were creating additional problems and he made the required fixes. His demeanor and workmanship was impeccable and I would recommend him for any heating and plumbing issues you may encounter. ~ Mark B

Mr. Curley and his wife are great!!! They rescued me (not a lie). The day before a big interview, I was about to take a shower when I realized my hot water heater stopped delivering hot water. When I went to investigate, I found a big, growing puddle in my basement. I panicked about how long it would take to find a plumber who would do the work, and how long it would take to replace the unit. (Did I mention I’d been unemployed for about a year? Also why I REALLY needed that pre-interview shower.) Richard’s wife answered the phone, recognized the panic in my voice, calmed me down, and told me she would talk to Mr. Curley when he came home for lunch and see if he might be able to stop by right after lunch. These two were as good as their word, and better than most plumbers’ word, in my opinion. Not only did Richard stop by, but he diagnosed the problem, and actually FIXED it right then and there - replaced one part and did some wrangling with another. He did NOT sell me a new unit, he did not overcharge, none of that. I literally paid less than I might have for an estimate visit by most plumbers. All this for someone who was a first-time caller/customer. I am and will be forever grateful to Richard Curley Plumbing. (And yes, I got the job.) ~ Anna T
